what i do
i'm a nerd. nerdy about chinese tea, nerdy about vintage music, and most of all nerdy about computers.
the computer part is mostly security, about three years of it now. it started with ctfs, then a hackrf, then compiling a custom nethunter kernel for my old oneplus 5 just so a usb wifi adapter would work. most of what i know came from breaking something and figuring out why.
then i built a homelab. it started as one server for media. now it's two proxmox nodes, an oracle vm, a 3090 and a 3080, a bunch of vlans, and more agents running than i can keep track of.
most of my time goes into stonehush, a local-first workbench for ctfs and labs, and rangebench, a small benchmark where models try to solve security tasks in isolated docker ranges.
next i want to understand how models work inside. train something small of my own and finally get the math behind it.
